睚眦（yá zì）好斗好杀，出现在刀环剑柄 Fond of fighting, found in swords & blades.

嘲风（cháo fēng）好险好望，出现在殿顶上角 Fond of views, found on top of palaces roofs.

蒲牢（pú láo）好鸣好吼，出现在编钟 Fond of roaring, found on top of brass bells.

狻猊（suān ní）好烟好坐，出现在香炉 Fond of smoke, found in incense burners.

霸下|赑屃（bà xià | bì xì） 好负重，出现在石碑下 Fond of weight, found under stone steles.

狴犴（bì àn）好讼诉，出现在衙门两侧 Fond of litigation, found at magistrate courts.

负屃（fù xì）优雅斯文，出现在石碑顶 Fond of elegance, found on top of stone steles.

螭吻（chī wěn）嗓粗好吞，出现在殿顶正脊两端，灭火消灾 Fond of swallowing, found on top of palaces to get rid of fire disasters.

有其它说法把以下列入龙子之一 Other classification of dragon's children as follows:

• 饕餮（tāo tiè）好食好吃，出现在餐具酒壶 Fond of food, found in cutlery and wine vessels.

• 蚣蝮（gōng fù）好水，出现在建筑的排水口 Fond of water, found at water outlets.

• 椒图（jiāo tú）好僻静，出现在宅门 Fond of tranquility, found on doors.

• 螭首 | 螭头 （chī shǒu | chī tōu）可装很多水，出现在排水口，廷柱，印章 Able to hold massive volume of water, found at water outlets, pillars and calligraphy seals.

• 朝天吼 | 犼 （cháo tiān hǒu | hǒu）好守望，出现在华表柱顶 Fond of keeping a lookout, found on top of pillars.
